What If Healing Was For Free?

Introduction; What If?

What if a thought was directed towards the “cause” of problems as a direction of treatment, or a possible cure, rather than primarily directed to the elevation of symptoms, and merely the effects of sicknesses and injuries?

If healing, like blessings, is promised to all, rained down on us all like the independent drops that fall on all the children’s heads regardless of who they are or how much money or status they possess, shouldn’t healing thus be the same, and realizing this, free obtainable for everybody, wouldn’t the world be a better place?

If we may suppose, sicknesses are merely storms that each of us must endure in order to overcome in our lives, having the potential to progress us from one place to another, a better place, a stronger place, a new place, a clean place, we might actually thank God for these storms because without the winds that they possess we might not have the ability to get to the other side?

A person can find themselves on such a journey sometimes hardly knowing the ship has sailed. Little do we know, that we may have stepped casually from one stepping stone to another, daydreamers walking along the gangplanks of gardens, finding ourselves suddenly aboard a ship whose destinations unknown makes us little more than unaware stowaways wondering onto valiant voyage destined for distant shores yet unknown and undiscovered growth. Who knows maybe the secret to the God gene awaits like some lost fountain of youth just within for an unexacting child to but turn over the right stone to reveal the golden nugget below?

What if today is such a day, for me, for us, because in and around the not so random steps of broader expanses of realization, thoughts of healing begin to find their way into the subtle dispositions of one’s mind?

I guess I was on a journey to discover health, maybe healing, no truth.

What if we have been given in each and every one of our lives, everything we need in which to overcome any and all sicknesses or injuries we might find ourselves facing, but all we have to do is pick up the tools and use them, would we venture another look?

Is it not said; “You have not because you ask not?“

So what if this particular day is such a day? So I asked….

“Why do some people get better and others don’t?”

“I would that everyone is healed.” A whisper, a thought, a causal wind blowing softly with the deepest resonating understanding, softly filling sails of one’s mind with invisible power, enough to push the heaviest ships across almost infinite seas. That voice, that pure soft yet powerfully good voice responds.

“Many ask but rarely stop to listen to what they need to do to receive, or even look up to receive the very gift that is already given.”

Existing in the health care profession, as many might tell you, especially after many years of practicing, gives a person a sense that they are nothing more than assembly line-like deliverers of meager portions of health, delved out in the most minimalistic fashion to the streams of people coming through the door and stepping up in line, hands out in hopeful reception, like some orphan begging for just another spoon of the porridge, all with their eyes wide in expectation for what; an answer, a little tidbit of information, that may lead to ease of burden, a reduction of irritation, the subtle elevation of the burden carried by them?

Is this all we have become? Is there not more than the orphan’s portion of gruel we have become so accustomed to just accepting as if it was all we deserve, being mere victims of this present and clear torment the irritation of the storm’s journey has presented us thus far?

And what, I might even ask myself, can you give them anyway, anything a person hasn’t given to a hundred, maybe a thousand other times prior to these, regardless of the situation or structures of the facilitator that brings forth any change in the issuing event in the first place?

A person finds themselves in such a present model, whether the healthcare provider or recipient thereof and over the course of so many years being merely a participator of regurgitated leaflets of information that vary if anything from one to the other with as little variation as one might see in looking at the difference between various aspirin pills in a single bottle. This monogamy starts over time to inflict a more questionable realization in one’s heart as to what exactly are you doing here? Are they really helping anyone? And what’s the meaning of it all, is there meaning, or am I just wasting time?

In such days, I found myself wondering and asking, if there is more, and if so what? Why not ask, and since I alone, why not ask out loud?

“So if You would that everyone would be healed, what is stopping them, why do only a few seem to be healed?” Not as much as expecting an answer, but merely stating to myself the frustrations I seem to feel with the job as a whole. Then the most shocking answer came instantly and unexpectedly.

“They Are!”

Having heard tales of a fountain of youth, a magic potion, a secret cure only known to the elite, miracles that happen to others, a diamond in the ruff, perhaps a God gene whose key merely has to be turned in order to unlock the door to health and wellness. But aren’t those just stories, things that seem to happen to others?

What if it is really true, what if we could all be healed?

What if we could take a journey and be shown how true healing can be granted to everyone who merely asks, and afterward how Godly therapy could be, would be, and should be performed on the aftermath of any affliction, just as it may have already demonstrated so many times and with so many healers before?

What if we could take a journey on the quest to really find the God Gene?
